health reporting is a system for collecting, organizing, analysing, reporting,
and disseminating data and information on health, diseases and their
determinants in a defined population.“ (Mans Rosén)
Based on this definition,
Eva PHR and PIA PHR provide guidance, help
and useful hints
for the preparation of policy-oriented public health
reporting products.
PIA
PHR / Policy Impact Assessment of Public Health Reporting
The aim of the project is to develop a “health
information tool box” which promotes the policy impact potential of the
different products generated by systems of public health reporting.
Eva
PHR / Evaluation of Public Health Reports
PIA PHR (2005-2008) follows Eva PHR.
Eva PHR (2000-2003) was directed
towards identifying
“ best practise” models
of national and regional public health reports
by comparing the features
of the reports
with the needs and expectations of their users. Collection

With Eva PHR a collection of national and regional public health reports
was started and continued as part of PIA PHR.

- the authors / editors,
